Bill grew up as a "youth at risk" on the Mexican border. His life journey eventually led him to a Northern California adventure ropes course where he became a volunteer facilitator in 1996 to work with local youth in a challenging learning environment.

Since that time he has expanded his clientele to include leadership consulting and corporate team building. A large part of his work involves personal growth facilitation for an international transformational education program.

Bill walks the talk of experiential education: He has built his own house, tends his garden which produces much of what he eats and is a hand's-on parent to the children he helped home birth.
