Community Courses
We have found over the years of doing ropes courses that the reasons a community group might have to do a ropes course are almost as numerous as the types of groups themselves. While we always work with our clients to custom design a course for their explicit objectives we find that the one consistent benefit that most groups get is a powerful "shared experience" of confronting and dealing with the compelling challenges of the program.
The "shared experience" is something that each group member then has in common with every other member of the group to reflect and draw upon in the future. This is momentous when forming the culture of a newly gathered group or team; it can also be a powerful rallying point for an existing group.
Here are some of the different types of community and related groups with whom we've worked. And we would very much appreciate the opportunity to work with your group if you don't see yourself on this list:
- Scouting
- Birthday Parties
- Family Reunions
- Church and Faith-based
- Friend Adventures
- "Outside of Work"
- Social Clubs
- Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties
- Fraternal Organizations
- Military and Academy (ROTC) Training
- Volunteer Service
- Firefighters
- Leadership
- Clubs
