John brings over 18 years of experience and distinctive expertise to the world of challenge course operations. In 1989, after experiencing a ropes course as a participant and stating that it "changed my life", he embarked on a path of learning as much as possible about the industry with the intention of making available for as many people as possible the experience of getting out of their comfort zone on safe and well-run challenge courses.

John has built, inspected and facilitated challenge courses in North America, Europe, and Great Britain. He currently designs and inspects courses and trains a small number of high level leaders while consulting with corporations in communication, teambuilding, business simulations and action learning. John is a Certified Master Somatic Coach.

When not on the course John can be found building tree houses and rope swings with his two daughters and learning about his own comfort zone as a flying trapeze student.
